Information for authors

Hi there! Thank you so much for your interest in having your book in our shop. We want to make sure Love Stories has the most diverse range of romance books available to our readers, and one of our goals is to make it as accessible to indie authors and self-published authors as we can. The Booksellers Association has a useful guide on how to approach booksellers to get your book stocked in a bookshop. All bookshops will operate differently.

At Love Stories, the main way we are able to stock your book is if it available through our wholesalers, either Gardners Books or Ingram. If your book is available on their platform, we can add it to our shop’s stock.

When sending us a stocking enquiry, it is useful for us to have the following information: book title, ISBN, and number in series (if applicable), publisher, release date, synopsis, wholesale price and RRP. We also require a statement confirming that no AI has been used at any stage in the creation of your book (writing, cover design, editing, etc.)

Please note, we are a small shop and as such are only able to hold a certain amount of stock. We are only able to consider romance novels.
